This gem is courtesy of Buzz. Seems that during the Winter Park trip, Buzz, Go Time, and Weebles decided to go off on a little used and ill-maintained back woods run. The outcome? The same as always, a good time had by all.

We’re Going To Go Ski This!

Anytime you go skiing, weather is always a factor. When you are starting at 12060 feet, it is even more so. If you didn’t venture to the top of the mountain, you probably didn’t experience the wind and blowing snow to its full effect. Take a look at this gem, courtesy of David Allsop.

Why Blondie Needs A Helmet!

If you’ve known David for any length of time, you know that his nickname is well-earned. This was taken during one of our many tree runs coming off the bowl. As Melissa said when she saw the video later, Blondie needs a helmet!

Winter Park has some of the best glade skiing anywhere. After a brief rest in a small clearing, Dave Gianino and decided to turn on the camera and follow Blondie and Elizabeth through a small gap in the trees with Boch and I in trail.

A clip courtesy of our club president, David Allsop. During one particular tree run, the group popped out of one section of trees and into another. Brian, shown here, decided he would follow Jim Mills. As you can see from the video, he didnt _exactly_ follow in Buzz’s ski tracks....

We had more than one spectacular fall on the Winter Park trip. In this case, the fall wasn’t captured, but the aftermath was. Dave Allsop captures just what its like to be in the middle of one of the toughest mogul runs on the mountain (Outhouse -- read the sign on the banner picture at the top of the page) and not have all of your equipment....

First run in the morning!

Everybody needs a little time in the morning. Some, like Buzz, occasionally need more than others. When you are at the mountain for the first run, though, everybody needs a few minutes to click in and bundle up. This is a typical morning on almost any ski trip you take.
